🎯 "The tree may prefer calm, but the wind will not subside." It was the Union Education Minister who provoked us to write this series of letters when we were simply doing our job. He forgot his place and dared to threaten an entire state to accept #HindiImposition, and now he faces the consequences of reviving a fight he can never win. Tamil Nadu will not be blackmailed into surrendering. 🎯 The biggest irony is that Tamil Nadu, which rejects #NEP, has already achieved many of its goals, which the policy aims to reach only by 2030. This is like an LKG student lecturing a PhD holder. Dravidam does not take dictations from Delhi. Instead, it sets the course for the nation to follow. 🎯 Now the BJP’s circus-like signature campaign for the three-language formula has become a laughing stock in Tamil Nadu. I challenge them to make this their core agenda in the 2026 Assembly elections and let it be a referendum on Hindi imposition. 🎯 History is clear. Those who tried to impose Hindi on Tamil Nadu have either been defeated or later changed their stance and aligned with DMK. Tamil Nadu will not tolerate Hindi colonialism replacing British colonialism. 🎯 From the names of schemes to awards to Union government institutions, Hindi has been imposed to a nauseating extent, suffocating non-Hindi speakers, who are the majority in India. 🎯 Men may come, men may go. Thankful to all parties that stood together as a single unit in the All-party Meeting convened by the Government of Tamil Nadu, setting aside the political differences to send a clear and uncompromising message on the unjust #Delimitation initiative. The resolutions passed today make Tamil Nadu’s stand loud and clear: 🔹 The Union Government must abandon any move to reduce, either absolutely or in percentage terms, Tamil Nadu’s current parliamentary representation in any form. We will not accept any punishment for acting in the national interest by successfully controlling population growth. 🔹 The Hon’ble Prime Minister must give an unequivocal assurance in Parliament that the 1971 population-based seat allocation will be extended for another 30 years, and a constitutional amendment must be passed to ensure this. 🔹 If parliamentary seats are increased, Tamil Nadu’s representation must rise proportionally as per the existing framework. No manipulation or dilution of our rightful political voice will be acceptable. Tamil Nadu’s existing percentage of seats, 7.18 per cent of the total, must not be reduced under any circumstances. 🔹 Tamil Nadu is not against delimitation, but it cannot and will not allow it to be a disguised weapon against progressive states. 🔹 All political parties (with MPs in South Indian States) will be approached to form a Joint Action Committee, to immediately take up this just cause as a battle in every forum and mobilise all necessary support. #தமிழ்நாடு_போராடும்! தமிழ்நாடு வெல்லும்! #FairDelimitationForTN
If the BJP’s claim that our Hon'ble PM has great love for Tamil is true, why is it never reflected in action? 🎯Rather than installing Sengol in Parliament, uninstall Hindi from Union Government offices in Tamil Nadu. Instead of hollow praise, make Tamil an official language on par with Hindi and allot more funds for Tamil than a dead language like Sanskrit. 🎯Stop the desperate attempts to saffronise Thiruvalluvar and declare his timeless classic, Thirukkural, as India’s National Book. Quoting Kurals during the Union Budget will not cut it. Honour them by ensuring special schemes, a prompt disaster relief fund, and new railway projects for Tamil Nadu. 🎯Stop wasting taxpayers’ money on the nonsense of 'Hindi Pakhwadas' in Tamil Nadu. End the absurdity of imposing Sanskrit names like Antyodaya, Tejas, and Vande Bharat on Tamil Nadu’s trains.
