DMK president M.K. Stalin highlighted emerging investigative disclosures concerning Annai Infra Developers, a private construction firm that secured government contracts worth over two thousand crore rupees across Tamil Nadu. Stalin anticipated that details exposing which powerful ministers within the corrupt AIADMK administration maintain clandestine business partnerships and kickback arrangements with the favoured enterprise will soon become public knowledge.

Stalin pointed out that major public infrastructure tenders, highways projects, and smart city contracts have been systematically manipulated to benefit a narrow syndicate of politically connected contractors. By skewing tender conditions and bypassing statutory transparency guidelines, the ruling administration diverted enormous sums from public exchequers into private pockets. This institutionalized corruption has resulted in substandard civic execution, inflated costs, and severe financial losses for the state.

The opposition leader stated that the nexus between corrupt ministers and favoured corporate contractors represents a blatant betrayal of public trust.
