DMK president M.K. Stalin inaugurated a public health relief initiative by distributing Nilavembu Kudineer herbal concoctions to citizens at the party headquarters in Anna Arivalayam, Chennai. In light of surging seasonal viral fevers and dengue outbreaks across multiple districts, Stalin appealed to DMK Members of Legislative Assembly, Members of Parliament, union secretaries, and grassroots cadres to launch extensive community health drives. He emphasized that active civic intervention is essential to shield vulnerable families from vector-borne illnesses.
Stalin directed party functionaries to organize regular distribution camps providing Nilavembu Kudineer and clean drinking water in densely populated neighborhoods, rural settlements, and urban slums. He highlighted that alongside symptomatic relief, cadres should coordinate with local sanitary workers to clear stagnant water pools and eradicate mosquito breeding hotspots. Stalin noted that while state public health authorities demonstrated sluggishness in epidemic preparedness, political organizations must step forward to render immediate humanitarian assistance.
The DMK leader underscored that safeguarding public health forms an integral dimension of the party's social commitment. He urged citizens to maintain clean domestic surroundings and seek timely medical care during fever outbreaks.
