DMK president M.K. Stalin conducted an extensive community dialogue with local residents and agricultural workers in the Paruthipadu neighborhood of Nanguneri Assembly constituency. Campaigning on behalf of the Secular Progressive Alliance nominee, Stalin engaged with neighborhood elders, farm laborers, and youth groups to discuss basic civic necessities and local economic hardships. He noted that rural settlements in the region continue to suffer from inadequate drinking water supplies, deteriorated roads, and irregular public transit services throughout the district.

Stalin emphasized that eight years of indifferent governance under the AIADMK had systematically crippled rural civic infrastructure across Tirunelveli district. Instead of resolving long-standing agrarian challenges and providing reliable canal irrigation, the state administration remained preoccupied with factional survival and executive corruption. Stalin stated that public disillusionment with the ruling party was palpably evident across every rural hamlet he toured during the by-election campaign.

The opposition leader affirmed the Secular Progressive Alliance's unwavering commitment to equitable rural development. He urged the people of Paruthipadu to cast their ballots unitedly for the alliance candidate to guarantee responsive, people-centric representation in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly.
