DMK president M.K. Stalin addressed a vibrant election campaign meeting at KTC Nagar North in the Nanguneri Assembly constituency, canvassing support for the Secular Progressive Alliance candidate. Interacting with local shopkeepers, salaried employees, and residents, Stalin highlighted the urgent need for systemic administrative reform to revitalize the regional economy. He criticized the AIADMK administration for neglecting peri-urban residential areas and failing to provide basic municipal amenities to suburban households.

Stalin pointed out that KTC Nagar North and surrounding colonies were grappling with poor drainage facilities, broken streetlights, unpaved approach roads, and erratic water supply schedules. He stated that despite repeated petitions submitted by local welfare associations, municipal authorities and elected ministers had turned a blind eye to public hardships. Stalin stressed that electing a committed opposition representative would ensure that civic grievances receive persistent legislative attention and executive resolution.

The DMK leader called upon urban and peri-urban voters to cast their ballots with conviction for the alliance candidate.
