DMK president M.K. Stalin addressed a vibrant election campaign meeting in Kalyanampoondi village of the Vikravandi Assembly constituency, canvassing votes for party candidate N. Pugazhenthi. Speaking directly to the assembled villagers, Stalin observed that public enthusiasm across rural areas demonstrated an unmistakable desire to elect a responsive representative who genuinely cares for local needs. He emphasized that the by-election presented a clear choice between people-centered service and administrative apathy.

Stalin criticized the AIADMK administration for neglecting Kalyanampoondi's civic requirements, noting that residents suffered from irregular drinking water supply, crumbling village roads, and lack of adequate community hall facilities. He pointed out that despite repeated appeals by local representatives, district authorities had taken no action to redress public grievances. Stalin pledged that once elected, Pugazhenthi would actively pursue developmental schemes to modernize village infrastructure and assist local farming families with targeted welfare programs.
