DMK president M.K. Stalin led an inspiring campaign stop at Sangeethamangalam village in the Vikravandi Assembly constituency, rallying public backing for party candidate N. Pugazhenthi. Welcomed by enthusiastic slogans and traditional greetings from local villagers and party cadres, Stalin underscored that every single vote cast in the by-election would contribute toward restoring democratic dignity and developmental vitality to Tamil Nadu.

Stalin highlighted the agrarian challenges faced by Sangeethamangalam, where farmers grappled with erratic power supplies, dried-up irrigation ponds, and high prices for agricultural inputs. He criticized the state government for its total lack of proactive policy interventions to assist drought-hit cultivators across the district. Stalin stated that previous DMK administrations under Kalaignar Karunanidhi had introduced historic welfare measures like the waiver of cooperative farm loans, proving that the party always places farmer welfare above all else in state policy.
