DMK president M.K. Stalin led an inspiring community outreach in Tharuvai village within the Nanguneri Assembly constituency, campaigning for Secular Progressive Alliance candidate Ruby Manoharan. Walking through rural streets and interacting with farming families and local elders, Stalin listened to grievances concerning neglected village infrastructure and persistent water scarcity. He stated that direct public dialogue remains the most powerful democratic tool to understand community needs and hold the state administration accountable.
Stalin criticized the ruling AIADMK government for its prolonged indifference to rural civic requirements in Tharuvai, pointing out that local ponds remained desilted poorly and street lighting remained inadequate across several hamlets. He noted that while ministers indulged in political rhetoric, basic public amenities continued to languish without necessary funding. Stalin reminded the gathering that DMK administrations had historically delivered tangible improvements to rural lives through comprehensive drinking water projects, agricultural power subsidies, and social security pensions.
The opposition leader called upon the electors of Tharuvai to cast their ballots for the Hand symbol. He assured that Ruby Manoharan would serve as an accessible representative, dedicating his tenure to securing essential public works.
