Welcomed by enthusiastic crowds of agricultural workers, youth, and alliance party volunteers, Stalin asserted that the by-election offered voters an essential platform to challenge the ruling AIADMK government's administrative apathy. He noted that widespread rural grievances demonstrated the complete failure of the state government to deliver basic services across southern districts.
