DMK president M.K. Stalin carried out an intensive grassroots campaign across the Nanguneri Assembly constituency, engaging in door-to-door interactions and porch discussions to seek support for alliance candidate Ruby Manoharan. As local residents gathered around village verandas to enumerate their everyday difficulties, Stalin listened attentively to their concerns. He gave a firm assurance to the assembled villagers that electing Ruby Manoharan would ensure active and persistent efforts to resolve every highlighted grievance.
Residents brought to Stalin's notice severe water shortages, prolonged delays in obtaining old-age pensions, and deteriorating rural road connectivity across remote hamlets. Stalin pointed out that the AIADMK administration had completely detached itself from grassroots realities, leaving ordinary people to struggle without responsive public officials. He highlighted that DMK governments under M. Karunanidhi had institutionalized direct grievance redressal mechanisms, ensuring that citizens' petitions were tracked and redressed systematically.
The DMK leader appealed to the people of Nanguneri to cast their votes for the Hand symbol. He reiterated that elected representatives from the Secular Progressive Alliance would remain accountable to the community and champion grassroots development throughout the legislative tenure.
