DMK president M.K. Stalin visited Krishnapuram village in the Nanguneri Assembly constituency, conducting an intensive community interaction to mobilize support for Secular Progressive Alliance nominee Ruby Manoharan. Greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by local agriculturalists, rural women, and young voters, Stalin spent time listening to local civic concerns, including poor road maintenance and water distribution bottlenecks. He noted that the overwhelming public affection demonstrated that the people remained firmly committed to progressive democratic values.
Stalin pointed out that despite repeated representations by residents, local authorities and the state government had neglected basic civic amenities in Krishnapuram. He criticized the AIADMK regime for allowing rural infrastructure to deteriorate while indulging in widespread corruption across state departments. Stalin emphasized that the DMK's administrative track record under M. Karunanidhi proved its unmatched capability to develop towns and villages through structured rural planning, minor irrigation maintenance, and comprehensive welfare assistance for agrarian families.
The opposition leader appealed to the voters of Krishnapuram to cast their ballots unitedly for Ruby Manoharan on the Hand symbol, ensuring honest, dedicated, and energetic legislative representation in the Tamil Nadu Assembly.
