அரசு,டெங்குவை கட்டுப்படுத்த போர்க்கால நடவடிக்கை மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டும்.

DMK president M.K. Stalin visited the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital in Chennai to interact personally with patients admitted with severe dengue fever, inquiring about their medical condition and the treatment provided to them. Expressing deep concern over the escalating spread of vector-borne illnesses across various districts, Stalin called upon the state government to initiate mosquito eradication and disease prevention measures on a war footing. He noted that public health authorities had allowed municipal sanitation standards to slip dangerously, resulting in rising seasonal infections.
Stalin urged the state administration to equip all government medical college hospitals, district headquarters hospitals, and rural primary health centres with adequate stocks of essential medicines, diagnostic testing kits, and round-the-clock medical staff. He also appealed directly to citizens to maintain clean domestic surroundings, eliminate stagnant water sources, and stay vigilant against disease symptoms to prevent community transmission.
The DMK leader emphasized that protecting public health remains an indispensable governmental duty, demanding that state health officials conduct extensive fogging drives, distribute supportive supplies, and organize special round-the-clock medical camps to assist vulnerable populations throughout the epidemic period.
