DMK president M.K. Stalin mounted a sharp attack on Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami, stating that the incumbent administration was expending immense administrative energy and state resources on ostentatious displays, self-promotional propaganda, and superficial prestige rather than solving the real problems of the people. Stalin remarked that if the Chief Minister had displayed half that speed, enthusiasm, and focus toward addressing urgent civic grievances and agrarian distress, the public might have had reason to commend his governance.
Stalin asserted that behind the administration's hollow claims and expensive public relations exercises lay a complete vacuum of genuine achievement. He pointed out that ordinary citizens across Tamil Nadu were grappling with unchecked price increases of essential commodities, mounting rural unemployment, crippling water scarcity, and crumbling public healthcare facilities, while the government remained paralyzed by political lethargy. Stalin noted that leadership requires humble public service and concrete policy execution rather than empty political vanity.
The DMK leader affirmed that the people of Tamil Nadu were keenly observing the administration's total failure to deliver meaningful governance and would deliver a decisive democratic verdict in the upcoming elections.
