DMK president M.K. Stalin undertook an extensive inspection of ongoing civic infrastructure projects across his Kolathur assembly constituency in Chennai, reviewing community development initiatives and inaugurating essential public amenities. As part of his constituency visit, Stalin inaugurated a dedicated deep borewell facility at the Thiru Vi Ka Nagar veterinary dispensary. The newly installed water system was designed to address acute water shortages and ensure continuous potable water supply for animal treatment and daily clinic sanitation.

Stalin inspected the medical dispensary's wards, interacting with veterinary doctors, staff, and local pet owners to assess the availability of essential vaccines and surgical equipment. He emphasized that municipal infrastructure must cater comprehensively to community welfare, which includes providing humane care and specialized medical facilities for domestic animals and stray pets. Stalin highlighted that maintaining clean, well-supplied veterinary clinics prevents zoonotic infections and fosters civic responsibility among urban residents.

He also evaluated several road renovation and drainage desilting works across residential wards, directing local authorities to expedite pending municipal improvements. Stalin reaffirmed his steadfast commitment to transforming Kolathur into a model urban constituency equipped with modern amenities.
