DMK president M.K. Stalin issued a stern warning to the AIADMK government, demanding immediate legislative action to guarantee employment priority for Tamil Nadu youth across state public recruitments. Stalin stated that surging unemployment rates have pushed educated young people into acute economic distress, while administrative vacancies are systematically filled by non-local candidates. He cautioned that if the state government fails to enact statutory safeguards protecting local job rights, the DMK will mobilize youth for a massive statewide protest.

Stalin pointed out that several neighboring states have implemented stringent domicile regulations and statutory quotas to safeguard employment opportunities for native youth in government departments, corporations, and state-funded enterprises. In contrast, the AIADMK dispensation has remained indifferent to the plight of millions of qualified Tamil graduates registered with employment exchanges. Stalin stressed that neglecting local talent during a severe job crisis constitutes an unacceptable betrayal of state welfare.

He demanded that the administration amend recruitment statutes across state services, state-owned corporations, and municipal boards to mandate local reservation. Stalin affirmed that the DMK stands solidly behind job-seeking youth, pledging that a future DMK administration will prioritize transparent recruitment and local job security.
