காவல்துறை இருக்கிறதா? அல்லது இப்போதுள்ள DGP-யும் இதற்கு துணைப் போகிறாரா?

DMK president M.K. Stalin expressed serious alarm over the flourishing illicit trade of banned gutkha and tobacco products across Tamil Nadu, even as the Central Bureau of Investigation investigates high-level bribery. Stalin pointed out that despite explosive documentary evidence revealing illicit payoffs to Health Minister C. Vijayabaskar and former Director General of Police T.K. Rajendran, banned contraband remains openly accessible near schools and public spaces. He questioned whether law enforcement agencies exist to protect public health or facilitate criminal cartels.
Stalin challenged the state police leadership to clarify whether current police executives are also collaborating with commercial syndicates distributing poisonous chewable tobacco. He noted that widespread narcotics distribution systematically ruins the health and future of young citizens, contributing to deteriorating civic safety across urban neighborhoods. Stalin condemned the state administration for allowing commercial rackets to operate with impunity while shielding implicated political figures from legal accountability.
He demanded that the home department launch an aggressive statewide crackdown to dismantle smuggling networks and shut down illegal retail outlets. Stalin affirmed that the DMK will persistently track anti-narcotics enforcement, demanding absolute administrative accountability to protect youth from substance abuse.
