Editorial context

DMK president M.K. Stalin issued a resolute warning to the Union Government, declaring that the DMK will not hesitate to coordinate with non-Hindi speaking states nationwide to challenge central Hindi imposition. Continuing his response to statements advocating a single national language, Stalin stressed that resisting linguistic subjugation is no longer isolated to Tamil Nadu. He declared that regional linguistic communities across eastern, western, and southern India are preparing to unite on a shared democratic platform to defend their constitutional heritage.

Stalin emphasized that India's constitutional architecture envisions a vibrant multilingual federation where no linguistic group is relegated to subordinate status. Attempting to elevate one regional language above others violates cooperative federalism and breeds resentment among diverse nationalities. Stalin asserted that the DMK will actively coordinate with progressive political parties, civil society organizations, and regional governments across states like West Bengal, Karnataka, and Kerala to resist cultural homogenization.

He stated that democratic mobilization across multiple state capitals will expose majoritarian designs that endanger national unity. Stalin affirmed that the Dravidian movement has both the historical experience and political resolve to lead this nationwide democratic struggle for constitutional equality.

This is an initiative of unofficial DMK and Dravidian Ideology supporter, a fan of Thanthai Periyar, Perarignar Anna and Kalaignar — not affiliated with any official DMK party or persons.
