DMK president M.K. Stalin conveyed warm Teachers Day greetings to educators across Tamil Nadu on behalf of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. Honoring teachers as pivotal figures who shape the intellectual and moral foundations of society after parents, Stalin praised the teaching community for their dedicated contributions toward educating future generations and fostering critical thinking among students.

Stalin recalled that during its tenures in government under former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, the DMK implemented pioneering welfare schemes, salary revisions, and infrastructure improvements to enhance the dignity and professional security of teachers. He highlighted that past DMK administrations consistently prioritized educational expansion, recruited thousands of government school teachers, and established protective measures for educators across the state.
