He cautioned that declining industrial production, sluggish domestic consumption, and mounting job losses across key sectors demand urgent fiscal intervention rather than public relations exercises. The DMK leader emphasized that ignoring warning signs from domestic manufacturers, small enterprises, and agricultural markets exacerbates hardships for ordinary wage earners.

He called upon the central administration to set aside political dogma and engage in constructive dialogue with financial specialists, industrial leaders, and state governments.
