DMK president M.K. Stalin expressed profound gratitude to the electorate, party cadres, and alliance partners of the Secular Progressive Alliance following their hard-fought victory in the Vellore parliamentary constituency. Stalin noted that while the ruling AIADMK deployed its full governmental apparatus, financial muscle, and ministerial machinery to sway the contest, the discerning voters of Vellore placed their trust in the people-centric leadership of the DMK.

Stalin emphasized the extraordinary nature of the triumph, observing that in a standalone election where ruling administrations typically enjoy decisive advantages through state power, a decisive victory achieved by an opposition party constitutes an unparalleled democratic feat. The electorate rejected the subservient politics of the ruling party, rewarding the DMK's steadfast consistency in defending state autonomy, secular ethos, and social welfare.
