DMK president M.K. Stalin led an energetic campaign trail across the Velapadi neighborhood of Vellore, soliciting votes for DMK parliamentary candidate Kathir Anand. Stalin interacted with traders, small artisans, and local families, presenting the DMK's vision for economic revival and transparent public governance across the historic urban center.

Stalin underscored that unaddressed commercial difficulties, unpredictable municipal taxation, and failing civic services have caused immense distress to Velapadi's commercial ecosystem. He criticized the incumbent state government for ignoring the livelihood struggles of traditional handloom weavers, petty vendors, and small entrepreneurs across the region. Stalin pledged that Kathir Anand would act as an accessible public advocate in New Delhi, demanding revitalized credit assistance, trade support facilities, and subsidized welfare initiatives for working-class communities. He highlighted that urban commerce requires steady infrastructural investment.

The DMK president emphasized that the election presents an opportunity to reject political subservience and demand genuine regional empowerment. Stalin urged the people of Velapadi to vote overwhelmingly for the Rising Sun symbol. He commended the tireless campaign efforts of alliance cadres, expressing confidence that Vellore would demonstrate its unwavering trust in DMK leadership.
