DMK president M.K. Stalin addressed a massive election rally at Vaniyambadi, campaigning for DMK candidate Kathir Anand in the Vellore parliamentary constituency. Highlighting the stark contrast between DMK's track record of developmental achievements and the failures of the ruling AIADMK government, Stalin reminded the public of the historic welfare initiatives delivered to Vellore district under DMK governance.

Stalin specifically cited the landmark Hogenakkal Integrated Drinking Water Project, conceptualized and implemented under former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, which successfully resolved fluorosis and drinking water scarcity for millions of residents across Vellore, Dharmapuri, and Krishnagiri districts. He criticized the incumbent AIADMK regime for allowing vital distribution networks to deteriorate due to administrative incompetence and corruption.
