DMK president M.K. Stalin conducted an extensive campaign meeting at K.V. Kuppam, soliciting votes for DMK candidate Kathir Anand in the Vellore parliamentary constituency. Addressing a responsive gathering of agricultural laborers, sugarcane farmers, and small traders, Stalin emphasized the critical necessity of reviving rural employment and securing guaranteed irrigation sources for the region.

Stalin noted that sugarcane cultivators across K.V. Kuppam were enduring severe financial distress due to non-payment of statutory dues by sugar mills, while the state government offered no regulatory intervention or price support. He highlighted that the DMK has always championed the rights of agrarian workers, recalling that past DMK administrations had provided free agricultural electricity, established welfare boards, and waived institutional farm loans. Stalin promised that Kathir Anand would prioritize agrarian welfare in Parliament, demanding comprehensive price stabilization funds and expanded rural employment guarantee allocations.

He appealed to the electorate to support the Rising Sun symbol to end administrative neglect and secure progressive governance. Stalin thanked local cadres and residents for their spirited reception, affirming that the DMK will persistently fight for the economic empowerment of farming families across Tamil Nadu.
