DMK president M.K. Stalin strongly criticized the AIADMK administration for its gross administrative negligence, pointing out that government schools across Tamil Nadu had reopened for the academic year without receiving prescribed textbooks for classes three, four, and five. Stalin described the situation as unacceptable, asserting that an administration unable to furnish primary school students with basic learning materials on the opening day exemplifies deep institutional incompetence.

Stalin highlighted that while the education department claims to modernize school curricula, elementary classrooms in rural and urban government schools were left without foundational instructional materials for weeks. He emphasized that children from underprivileged and working-class families, who rely entirely on state-provided educational kits, are disproportionately affected by these recurring bureaucratic failures. Stalin observed that from acute drinking water mismanagement to educational paralysis, Tamil Nadu's governance had fallen into careless hands that prioritize political survival over civic and student welfare.

Urging the state government to shed its lethargy, Stalin demanded the immediate dispatch and distribution of all outstanding textbook sets to schools across the state. He affirmed that the DMK will persistently defend the educational rights and welfare of school students.
