DMK president M.K. Stalin visited Sulur in the Coimbatore parliamentary constituency to meet local residents directly and express heartfelt gratitude for their active democratic participation and overwhelming support during recent elections. Quoting the timeless wisdom of Thiruvalluvar that forgetting gratitude is a grave failing, Stalin emphasized that meeting voters face-to-face after elections to acknowledge their trust is a non-negotiable responsibility of progressive leadership.
Interacting with weavers, agriculturalists, small factory workers, and local families, Stalin listened closely to unresolved local issues, including erratic drinking water distribution, deteriorating village road connectivity, and inadequate irrigation channels. He gave an unyielding assurance to the people that although the DMK functions in the opposition in the state assembly, its elected legislators and members of Parliament will continuously advocate for Sulur's developmental requirements across legislative forums. Stalin affirmed that the DMK measures its duty not merely by political office, but by its sustained readiness to stand with citizens and amplify their grievances.
He commended local alliance workers for their spirited public outreach, urging them to remain accessible to all residents. Stalin reaffirmed DMK's dedication to the welfare of Sulur.
