DMK president M.K. Stalin bowed before the people of Tamil Nadu with profound reverence and heartfelt gratitude following the landslide victory achieved by the DMK-led alliance in the 2019 parliamentary elections. Describing the verdict as a historic triumph of secularism, social justice, and regional self-respect, Stalin thanked millions of conscious voters across all thirty-eight winning constituencies for reposing immense democratic faith in the leadership and manifesto of the DMK.
Stalin affirmed that the DMK will honor this sacred public trust with unwavering integrity, energetic public service, and transparent accountability. He assured the citizens of Tamil Nadu that their elected representatives will never compromise regional interests or surrender constitutional entitlements before any authority. Stalin emphasized that whether inside the halls of Parliament in New Delhi or across the streets of Tamil Nadu, the DMK will continually raise its voice to defend the state's riparian rights, oppose educational impositions like NEET, demand legitimate financial grants, and safeguard the dignity of the Tamil language.
He extended warmest thanks to all democratic alliance leaders, party functionaries, and grassroots workers whose tireless unity secured this sweep. Stalin reaffirmed his commitment to public welfare.
