DMK president M.K. Stalin issued a high-priority advisory to all DMK counting agents, district office-bearers, and alliance representatives ahead of the crucial vote counting for the parliamentary elections and Assembly by-elections. Stalin asserted that the upcoming counting day would deliver a decisive public verdict ushering in transformative governance changes at both the central and state levels, but cautioned that ruling dispensations gripped by power lust could resort to desperate manipulations to subvert democratic outcomes.

Stalin pointed out that the Election Commission's autonomy had been compromised by ruling regimes, creating an atmosphere where administrative oversight requires heightened public and party vigilance. He instructed every counting agent to arrive punctually at counting centers, meticulously verify the serial numbers of electronic voting machines, inspect paper seals, and ensure that every single Postal Ballot and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail slip is counted with utmost accuracy. Stalin emphasized that agents must not leave their designated tables until official round-wise declaration certificates are formally signed and handed over.
