DMK president M.K. Stalin issued a powerful appeal to the electorate in the four Assembly by-election constituencies of Thiruparankundram, Ottapidaram, Sulur, and Aravakurichi, urging them to vote decisively for DMK candidates and lay the groundwork for an immediate change of government in Tamil Nadu. Stalin declared that Tamil Nadu needs neither authoritarian rulers from New Delhi nor their subservient political puppets at the state level who have reduced state governance to a corrupt spectacle.
Stalin emphasized that the by-elections in these four critical constituencies provided a momentous democratic opportunity for the people to terminate the corrupt, unrepresentative AIADMK regime that survived solely through unprincipled political compromises and backroom maneuvers. He highlighted the pervasive decay across public administration, pointing out that rural habitations in these constituencies were suffering from acute drinking water deficits, bad roads, shuttered cottage industries, and agricultural distress. Stalin promised that a DMK victory in these seats would restore administrative integrity, usher in people-oriented social welfare policies, and protect Tamil self-respect.
He called upon voters to rally behind the Rising Sun symbol to deliver an emphatic mandate. Stalin declared that a vote for the DMK represents a vote for dignity, progress, and democratic renewal.
