DMK president M.K. Stalin strongly rejected claims made by Tamil Nadu BJP president Tamilisai Soundararajan alleging secret alliance talks between the DMK and the Bharatiya Janata Party, describing the assertion as an outright, fabricated falsehood. Stalin declared that the DMK's ideological commitment to secularism, social justice, and state autonomy is completely non-negotiable and incompatible with the divisive agenda of the saffron party.

Stalin asserted that the party remains resolute in its goal to remove the Narendra Modi-led central government, which he accused of seeking to impose uniform communal ideology across India's diverse federal structure. He also condemned the ruling AIADMK state administration for functioning without a political backbone, completely surrendering Tamil Nadu's rights, linguistic pride, and fiscal interests to retain power. Stalin stated that after the election results on May 23, the progressive coalition will dislodge the central regime and pave the way to dismantle the subservient state government.

Stalin reaffirmed that the DMK will never compromise its secular principles for political expediency. He called on citizens to reject disinformation campaigns and vote decisively for secular progressive governance across Tamil Nadu.
