Editorial context

DMK president M.K. Stalin addressed a vibrant campaign meeting in Aravakurichi assembly constituency, appealing to voters to cast their ballots for the Rising Sun symbol in the bye-election. Speaking before a vast assembly of local residents, agriculturists, and party workers, Stalin stressed that electing the DMK candidate was vital to end the misgovernance of the ruling dispensation and restore democratic integrity in Tamil Nadu.

Stalin focused on the pressing economic issues facing the people of Karur district. Severe drought and prolonged official negligence had left agrarian communities without sufficient water for irrigation, causing extensive crop losses among drumstick, onion, and groundnut cultivators. In addition, rural roads remained in deplorable condition, and local primary healthcare centers suffered from chronic staff shortages. Stalin assured the public that a DMK legislator would work tirelessly to address these grassroots grievances, expedite canal rejuvenation projects, and attract rural processing industries to generate sustainable livelihoods for educated youth.

Stalin called upon cadres to ensure strong voter mobilization across every village ward. He expressed confidence that the electorate would reject corrupt inducements and deliver a decisive victory for progress and social justice.

This is an initiative of unofficial DMK and Dravidian Ideology supporter, a fan of Thanthai Periyar, Perarignar Anna and Kalaignar — not affiliated with any official DMK party or persons.
