DMK president M.K. Stalin assured the residents of Sulur that a future DMK-led administration will immediately address all fundamental infrastructural deficits plaguing the constituency, while ensuring strict accountability for the rampant corruption overseen by Municipal Administration Minister S.P. Velumani throughout the region. Stalin emphasized that western Tamil Nadu, despite contributing substantially to the state exchequer through enterprise and manufacturing, had been subjected to severe governance neglect and financial extortion under the AIADMK regime.

Stalin highlighted the unaddressed needs of Sulur, including chronic drinking water shortages, contaminated water sources, damaged rural roads, and absent sewage treatment networks across village panchayats. He asserted that local body funds and development contracts in the Coimbatore region had been monopolized by Minister Velumani's close relatives and shell companies through collusive tender rigging. Rather than providing essential municipal services, the ruling dispensation treated public contracts as private sources of enrichment.

Stalin declared that a DMK government will constitute special investigation commissions to prosecute corrupt ministers and recover looted public wealth.
