DMK president M.K. Stalin addressed a massive election rally in Thiruparankundram assembly constituency, campaigning vigorously in support of DMK candidate Dr. P. Saravanan. Roads leading to the historic hill shrine remained damaged, healthcare facilities at the local government hospital were inadequate, and surrounding agricultural villages suffered from dried irrigation tanks. Local weavers and artisans had been abandoned without financial support or modern marketing assistance. Stalin promised that a DMK legislator would work round the clock to establish modern medical amenities, desilting historic water tanks, and upgrade pilgrim and tourist facilities to boost local commerce.
