Editorial context

DMK president M.K. Stalin addressed a well-attended election campaign rally in Ottapidaram, paying homage to the sacred soil that gave birth to legendary freedom fighter V.O. Chidambaram Pillai and brave warrior Veerapandiya Kattabomman. Stalin declared that it was unacceptable for such a land of historic valor and self-respect to be represented or governed by an unprincipled AIADMK dispensation that has surrendered the state's self-respect and political autonomy to New Delhi.

Stalin highlighted the persistent developmental deficits across the Ottapidaram assembly segment, pointing out that successive AIADMK administrations had utterly failed to provide dependable drinking water schemes, repair crumbling rural roads, or upgrade primary health centers. He noted that dryland farming communities and unorganized salt pan workers lived under severe financial stress without fair minimum wages, social security boards, or drought compensation. Instead of serving local needs, ruling party functionaries were exclusively focused on protecting their unlawful wealth and engineering electoral malpractices.

Stalin urged the electorate to elect DMK candidate M.C. Shanmugaiah under the Rising Sun symbol to ensure dedicated constituency service, agricultural rejuvenation, and honest democratic representation in the Tamil Nadu Assembly.

This is an initiative of unofficial DMK and Dravidian Ideology supporter, a fan of Thanthai Periyar, Perarignar Anna and Kalaignar — not affiliated with any official DMK party or persons.
