DMK president M.K. Stalin underscored that Tamil Nadu suffered immense economic and social setbacks under the twin engines of central insensitivity and state-level surrender. From demonetization and devastating GST implementations to the imposition of NEET and surrender of state autonomy, the common people bore the brunt of destructive policies. Farmers lost livelihoods, industrial growth stagnated, and educated youth remained unemployed while the state cabinet engaged in brazen tender scandals. Stalin asserted that this crucial election provided an historic opportunity to restore federal self-respect and economic progress.
