DMK president M.K. Stalin addressed a massive election campaign rally in Namakkal, voicing the deep grievances of the district's pioneering poultry farmers, truck transport operators, rig industry entrepreneurs, and sago manufacturers. Stalin observed that Namakkal was renowned across India as an epitome of self-made entrepreneurship and hard work, yet its vital industrial ecosystem had been devastated by reckless economic experiments imposed by the central and state governments.
Stalin pointed out that exorbitant GST levies on truck spare parts, insurance hikes, and fuel price deregulation pushed the commercial transport sector into massive debt. Simultaneously, poultry farmers struggled under skyrocketing maize feed prices and lack of governmental export support, while small garment and manufacturing workshops shuttered due to liquidity crunches. Stalin criticized the ruling AIADMK for remaining completely silent while central policies systematically drained Tamil Nadu's industrial prosperity.
Stalin assured the people of Namakkal that the Secular Progressive Alliance will vigorously advocate for fuel price rationalization, GST reform for transport and agro-industries, and dedicated poultry feed subsidies. He urged voters to support the alliance candidate to restore economic vitality to Namakkal. Robust regional enterprise will propel Tamil Nadu toward sustained economic growth.
