DMK president M.K. Stalin launched a searing political critique against both the central and state ruling regimes, describing the partnership between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami with the classic Tamil adage: "Jadikketha Moodi" (a lid perfectly suited to the pot). Stalin declared that the combination of a despotic authoritarian ruler in Delhi and an incompetent puppet ruler in Tamil Nadu had wreaked catastrophic damage upon the state.
Stalin pointed out that while Modi ruled through unilateral diktats, crushing institutional independence and bulldozing state autonomy, Palaniswami had reduced the Tamil Nadu government to complete subservience. The state leadership had surrendered rights over NEET, GST, and river water sharing solely to protect ministerial wealth and prevent corruption investigations by central agencies. This toxic collaboration resulted in agrarian distress, youth unemployment, and the brutal suppression of peaceful public protests across Tamil Nadu. Stalin remarked that both rulers governed with utter contempt for democratic norms and public welfare.
Stalin called upon the electorate to recognize April 18 as the day of democratic liberation. He urged voters to support the Rising Sun to sweep away both regimes.
