DMK president M.K. Stalin warmly welcomed the release of the Indian National Congress election manifesto, characterizing it as a progressive document that provided immense hope and direction to the people of India. Stalin affirmed that the policy commitments outlined in the DMK manifesto resonated deeply with the national manifesto, expressing firm confidence that a Secular Progressive Alliance government in New Delhi will systematically implement these transformative measures.

Stalin highlighted key shared priorities within both manifestos, notably the elimination of the discriminatory NEET examination, the creation of millions of government and private sector jobs, farm debt relief, and the revolutionary Nyuntam Aay Yojana (NYAY) minimum income guarantee scheme for poor families. He pointed out that unlike the unfulfilled slogans of the Narendra Modi regime, the promises made by the secular alliance were pragmatic, scientifically modeled, and grounded in the urgent needs of working people. Stalin underscored that the alliance represented a cohesive ideological coalition dedicated to restoring federalism, constitutional independence, and social welfare.
