DMK president M.K. Stalin launched a fierce attack against the Narendra Modi-led BJP government for brazenly weaponizing central investigative agencies, including the Income Tax Department and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), to intimidate political rivals and manipulate electoral outcomes. Stalin asserted that having realized its complete inability to gain popular democratic acceptance in Tamil Nadu, the BJP had used the fear of raids and prosecution to force the corrupt AIADMK leadership into unconditional political submission.

Stalin pointed out that gripped by the impending terror of complete rout in the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP government was now attempting to target DMK leaders, alliance partners, and campaign functionaries through politically motivated searches and harassment. He issued a stern warning to Delhi's rulers, declaring that the DMK was a battle-hardened movement shaped by anti-Hindi agitations, the brutal Emergency, and continuous political struggles. The party would never be cowed or frightened by vindictive raids orchestrated by central agencies acting as partisan wings of the ruling party.

Stalin affirmed that the people of Tamil Nadu will deliver a resounding democratic defeat to the authoritarian regime on April 18.
