DMK president M.K. Stalin warmly and wholeheartedly welcomed the landmark announcement of the Nyuntam Aay Yojana (#NyayForIndia) by Indian National Congress president Rahul Gandhi, describing it as an unprecedented and historic social welfare policy. Under the proposed scheme, the poorest twenty percent of Indian households will receive direct cash assistance of seventy-two thousand rupees annually, disbursed as six thousand rupees every month directly into the bank accounts of women homemakers.

Stalin observed that the destructive economic policies of the Narendra Modi administration—particularly chaotic demonetization, predatory GST implementations, and ruthless fuel tax hikes—had crushed ordinary citizens, reducing impoverished daily wage laborers and rural families to agony resembling worms caught in fire. The NYAY program represented a compassionate, revolutionary intervention that would revive grassroots purchasing power, lift five crore families out of abject poverty, and stimulate national economic demand from the bottom up. Stalin emphasized that the DMK fully endorsed this transformative blueprint as an essential pillar of social justice.

Stalin declared that a Secular Progressive Alliance government in New Delhi will implement this scheme with absolute determination. He urged voters to support the secular alliance.
