Stalin highlighted the acute economic crisis devastating Kancheepuram's traditional handloom silk weaving community. The historic silk sector, which had earned global fame for its exquisite craftsmanship, was being suffocated by arbitrary GST levies on raw silk, zari, and finished saris, forcing hundreds of weaver families into crippling debt. Concurrently, unchecked illegal sand mining patronized by AIADMK ministers had turned the dry bed of the Palar river into a moonscape of deep craters, destroying regional groundwater tables and triggering acute drinking water distress across surrounding rural panchayats. Stalin condemned state ministers for prioritizing illicit mining syndicates over local agrarian and artisan welfare.

Stalin promised that a DMK government will waive weaver cooperative loans, rehabilitate the Palar river basin, and establish textile export support centers. He urged voters to support the Rising Sun.
