DMK president M.K. Stalin delivered a scathing political exposure of Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami, asserting that the Chief Minister had completely mortgaged the dignity of the AIADMK and the autonomy of Tamil Nadu to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. Stalin charged that Palaniswami's abject political subservience was motivated entirely by personal terror, desperately seeking central investigative protection to shield himself from legal scrutiny in the sensational Kodanad estate break-in, robbery, and murder conspiracy.
Stalin highlighted the unprincipled character of the ruling coalition, noting that two medical doctors—PMK founder Dr. S. Ramadoss and youth wing leader Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss—had joined this alliance to play opportunistic sycophants to the very regime they previously denounced as corrupt. The PMK had authored detailed dossiers and public books listing extensive corruption allegations against AIADMK ministers, yet cynically forged an election alliance purely for parliamentary seats and political relevance. Stalin remarked that this self-serving opportunism insulted the intelligence of Tamil voters, who clearly recognized the nexus between political corruption and unprincipled coalitions.
Stalin declared that the electorate will deliver a crushing rebuke to this coalition of compromise on April 18. He urged citizens to choose the Rising Sun.
