DMK president M.K. Stalin addressed a massive and energetic election campaign rally in Dharmapuri parliamentary constituency, campaigning with great zeal for DMK candidate Dr. S. Senthilkumar. Stalin recalled the landmark achievements of previous DMK governments under Kalaignar Karunanidhi, most notably the historic execution of the Hogenakkal drinking water and fluorosis mitigation project, which had successfully delivered safe, clean drinking water to millions of residents suffering from fluorosis across Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri.

Stalin expressed deep dismay that the AIADMK regime had failed to maintain the Hogenakkal water distribution network, leaving numerous rural panchayats and hilly hamlets without regular water supply. The agricultural community was struggling due to the neglect of the Cauvery surplus water pumping scheme, which could easily fill hundreds of dry irrigation tanks across the district. In addition, sericulture farmers and mango growers were suffering from falling market rates and absent cold chain facilities. Stalin also condemned the PMK leadership for exploiting caste sentiments for narrow electoral gains while doing nothing to bring tangible industries or jobs to Dharmapuri's youth.

Stalin promised that a DMK government will expand the Hogenakkal project, implement surplus water irrigation, and build modern agro-processing units. He urged voters to support the Rising Sun.
