DMK president M.K. Stalin expressed profound anguish and indignation over the spine-chilling Pollachi sexual assault and blackmail racket, describing it as an unprecedented atrocity that had shaken the conscience of Tamil Nadu. Stalin condemned the ruling AIADMK for actively working to shield predatory offenders instead of delivering swift justice to vulnerable young women. He stated that it was utterly shameful that a state government entrusted with safeguarding women was instead deploying police power to suppress evidence and intimidate victims.

Stalin affirmed that the Dravidian movement was founded on the fundamental principle of defending the dignity, safety, and self-respect of women. When college students and young girls were subjected to organized violence, video blackmail, and emotional torment by a predatory syndicate with political backing, the principal opposition could not remain a silent bystander. Stalin announced that the DMK will wage an unyielding struggle on two simultaneous fronts: through legal battles in the Madras High Court to ensure an impartial court-monitored probe, and through massive democratic protests across every district headquarters to awaken public conscience.
