Editorial context

DMK president M.K. Stalin delivered a major address at the political resurgence conference organized by the Communist Party of India (CPI) in the industrial city of Coimbatore. Stalin praised the historic comradeship between the Dravidian and Left movements, emphasizing that their enduring partnership was forged in the shared crucible of labor struggles, social reform movements, and the unyielding defense of constitutional democracy.

Stalin criticized the central BJP dispensation and the compliant state AIADMK administration for systematically undermining democratic institutions, diluting federal autonomy, and imposing anti-people economic policies like demonetization and GST that had devastated Coimbatore's vital micro, small, and medium enterprises. He pointed out that working-class families, textile weavers, foundry operators, and engineering workers were facing unprecedented distress due to callous fiscal governance and industrial neglect. Stalin noted that only a resolute alliance of progressive, secular, and democratic forces could provide genuine relief to the working masses.

Stalin declared that the electoral front represented the hopes of farmers, workers, and students across Tamil Nadu. He called upon cadres of both parties to work with selfless dedication to secure total electoral victory.

This is an initiative of unofficial DMK and Dravidian Ideology supporter, a fan of Thanthai Periyar, Perarignar Anna and Kalaignar — not affiliated with any official DMK party or persons.
