DMK president M.K. He recalled that Kalaignar Karunanidhi's historic penship and visionary oratory had awakened political consciousness, eradicated feudal hierarchies, and secured linguistic self-respect for Tamils across the world over eight decades of active public life. Stalin emphasized that Karunanidhi's progressive welfare policies—ranging from free electricity for farmers to equal property rights for women—were rooted in an uncompromising ideological devotion to the Dravidian ethos.
