DMK president M.K. Stalin presided over a grand party joining ceremony in Krishnagiri district, formally inducting hundreds of cadres and local office-bearers from rival political organizations into the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. Stalin welcomed the new entrants with party shawls, commending their collective decision to embrace the progressive banner of the DMK in defense of Tamil Nadu's rights and federal autonomy.
Stalin observed that the massive influx of grassroots functionaries from various political camps reflected widespread public disillusionment with the ruling AIADMK-BJP combine. Across western districts, agrarian distress, lack of industrial infrastructure, and bureaucratic inertia had alienated grassroots workers from the ruling party. Stalin stated that citizens increasingly viewed the DMK as the sole credible, disciplined force capable of delivering honest governance, defending state self-respect, and protecting the welfare of working-class families across Tamil Nadu.
Stalin urged the new members to integrate seamlessly with veteran party cadres at the ward and panchayat levels. He called upon all workers to mobilize vigorously for the upcoming parliamentary elections, ensuring complete victory across every assembly segment in the region and strengthening constitutional democracy throughout the state.
