DMK president M.K. Stalin addressed a vibrant and enthusiastic DMK Panchayat Sabha meeting at Thorapalli village panchayat in Hosur assembly constituency, engaging in direct dialogue with local villagers, agriculturalists, and industrial workers. Stalin noted that Thorapalli, renowned as the historic birthplace of Rajaji, possessed immense cultural significance but remained neglected in essential civic infrastructure by the incumbent state administration.

Local residents shared pressing grievances regarding inadequate drinking water pipelines, untreated industrial effluent discharges contaminating surrounding watercourses, and the acute shortage of public transportation connecting interior hamlets to Hosur town. Small farmers raised concerns about rising fertilizer costs, absent cold chain facilities for perishable horticulture crops, and non-existent local body administration resulting from stalled civic polls. Stalin emphasized that the DMK's grassroots sabhas were organized to hear the voices of ordinary citizens whose everyday problems were ignored by administrative authorities in Chennai.

Stalin pledged that a future DMK government will address Thorapalli's infrastructure needs, regulate industrial waste effectively, expand rural bus services, and ensure clean drinking water for every household. He urged residents to support the democratic alliance decisively to usher in meaningful change.
