DMK president M.K. Stalin launched an innovative crowdsourcing initiative, inviting citizens, experts, students, and professionals to contribute their visionary ideas and policy recommendations for the DMK election manifesto for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Stalin emphasized that an election manifesto should not remain a closed document prepared by political insiders, but a living people's charter reflecting the authentic dreams and everyday needs of the state.

Stalin invited the public to send their constructive proposals directly to a dedicated email address ([email protected]) and share them using the hashtag #DMKmanifesto2019. He highlighted that Tamil Nadu required fresh, evidence-based policy solutions across key sectors, including agrarian water management, industrial revival, quality education, employment generation, environmental protection, and federal rights protection. By directly soliciting public input, the DMK sought to democratize the manifesto drafting process and ensure that policy priorities arise from grassroots realities.

Stalin urged everyone who cares for Tamil Nadu's welfare to participate actively in this collaborative exercise. He concluded that collective public wisdom will help build a comprehensive blueprint to serve the state effectively, empower vulnerable communities, and restore progressive governance.
