DMK president M.K. Stalin broadcast his public interaction address delivered at the DMK Panchayat Sabha meeting held at Korattur village in Poonamallee assembly segment. Stalin used the interactive forum to engage with local youth, daily wage workers, and women, focusing on suburban development bottlenecks, erratic water supply, and mounting civic problems across the peri-urban belt.

Stalin pointed out that areas adjoining metropolitan Chennai faced unique challenges arising from rapid urbanization without corresponding investments in basic municipal infrastructure. In Korattur, local roads remained damaged, solid waste management was nonexistent, and public primary healthcare centers lacked doctors and diagnostic facilities. Stalin criticized local AIADMK representatives for neglecting constituency welfare while focusing on illicit sand extraction and construction kickbacks. He stressed that participatory village sabhas had provided a much-needed platform for ordinary people to demand accountability from state administrators and share community priorities directly.

Stalin affirmed that the DMK will prioritize suburban planning, expand metro water supply networks to peripheral panchayats, construct proper drains, and ensure responsive civic administration. He called upon residents to reject corrupt governance and support the progressive coalition in upcoming polls.
