DMK president M.K. Stalin delivered a major political address at the massive state conference organized by the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) in the historic temple city of Madurai. Stalin paid glowing tributes to the decades-long ideological brotherhood between the DMK and the IUML, recalling how leaders like Perarignar Anna and Kalaignar Karunanidhi stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Quaid-e-Millath Muhammad Ismail in defending secularism and communal harmony.

Stalin condemned the central BJP government for systematically targeting religious minorities, subverting constitutional safeguards, and fostering divisive social polarization across the country for narrow political dividends. He also slammed the state AIADMK dispensation for acting as an uncritical rubber stamp for central communal agendas, ignoring the welfare and dignity of Tamil Nadu's minority communities. Stalin highlighted that the DMK had consistently championed minority welfare, implementing reservations for backward Muslims and protecting minority educational institutions throughout its governance tenures.

Stalin declared that the DMK-led secular progressive alliance represents the protective shield for all marginalized communities, religious minorities, and oppressed sections. He called upon cadres of both parties to unite resolutely and secure total victory in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
